Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to log, rank, and share the shows they love. Concerto aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across the Concerto mobile app and getconcerto.app, and we treat accessibility issues as bugs.

Supported Features

VoiceOver: buttons, tabs, icons, and form fields have descriptive labels, and screen titles are marked as headings.
Dynamic Type / Larger Text: text in the app follows your device’s text size setting.
Reduce Motion: when it is on, loading placeholders stop pulsing and videos don’t play automatically. Videos can be paused or played with a long press or the VoiceOver actions menu.
Sufficient contrast: text and icon colours are chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios.

Known Limitations

Photos and videos are uploaded by members of the Concerto community. They may not include text descriptions or captions, so some of their content may not be available to screen reader users. We are working on ways to make user-uploaded media more accessible.
